Tashawit numeral system
Hi, metta hallem/t,
A reader sent me an email inquiring about the Tashawit numeral system . I urge all of you to participate in discussing this subject. Thanks!
"...I am now working with Prof. Bernard Comrie on documentations of numeral systems of languages in the world, with special attentions on endangered numeral systems, as traditional numeral systems of small languages are susceptible to be replaced by dominant languages. I plan to upload the data on numeral systems from several hundreds African languages available to a website hosted in the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany and I will share all the data to promote the research of small languages and document endangered numeral systems.
However, I am still looking for data for Tashawit and some poorly documented Berberic languages.
Today, I am very glad to see your blog on Tashawit, so I am now sending this e-mail for your help.
If time permits, would you mind doing me a favor? I will be very much appreciated if you could generously share me the knowledge of numeral system for Tashawit..."

I think we all know that counting in tachawit was confined to the number 3(three)I think that the roman , byzantine et arabic systems inhibated the counting system in tachawit.
You have may be to check other dialectes close to tachawit (M'zabi, siwi etc..) to get the full counting system.
Here are the counting system in tachawit (ordinal/cardinal)
Cardinal:
Idej/icht: one
sen: two
Qort/krat:three
tben/oqoz: four
Ordinal:
Amezwaru/ Mezzeur: first
Alemmas: Middle, second
Aneggaru: last
