Abstract

Marc LE PAPE, Les Oudjana de l'Aurès : mémoires et chroniques d'une tribu.- In the Yabous douar of the Aurès foothills, the distribution of hamlets and patronymics, the highly style of behavior and rigorous obligations of respect would seem derived from the traditional fixation. A historical and genealogical study shows to what extent present understandings and practices conform to a recast tradition, constructed upon the ashes of the tribe's destruction.
